For 70 years, plastic production has grown exponentially on a global scale (see National Geographic). Plastic is everywhere, the world is starting to realize that it is time to take serious actions to limit its production, its consumption and increase its recycling and upcycling methods. Various international treaties are being negotiated to act at the highest level from the end of 2024.

However, it is just as important to act as close as possible to the population by raising awareness, to develop small-scale waste management solutions and to mobilize to participate in the protection of our environment, individually and collectively.
